Programmatic Audio Visual Installation using Unity simulation, Electron web application, and generative video collage, photogrammetry and motion capture.

Using experimental software of dubious origin, a cybernetic performance artist repeatedy erases, remixes, and overwrites their own memories in an endless feedback loop of amnesia and identity fragmentation. Flashes of imagery and snatches of conversation, real or imagined, are not so much recalled as choreographed; unmoored from context, the personal archive is deconstructed into an alien database whose contents are scrambled anew by each attempt at retrieval. As increasingly grandiose claims are laid on our capacity to understand the self through technology, this reverse method of loci offers revelation in discontinuity over falsity of wholeness. Viewers are invited to observe the subject as they wander through a neurotechnic reverie between familiar sets of anti-antipodes: Korea and Los Angeles, mountain and city, cognition and code, memory and dream.
